The surroundings

If you love skiing, in winter there are the ski slopes of Casone di Profecchia, near Villa Verde, and the ones of San Pellegrino in Alpe a few kilometres from the hotel.

In summer you can go on excursions in the most beautiful areas of Garfagnana, such as in San Pellegrino in Alpe, Barga, Castelnuovo, the lake of Vagli, the natural park of Orecchiella and Grotta del Vento. All around the hotel there are posted paths too.

If you are keen on horses you can go to Castiglione and visit its riding-school and sports system.
